As we go through life, many of us are fortunate to pursue our desires.  However, it is during times of greatest weaknesses that we need to remember that all desires are attainable if you only take the first step.

I have had experiences in my life where spirits have chosen to make themselves known to me.  This story below illustrates one of those times.

I felt a coolness as the door behind me opened and closed and I heard a jingling sound as though someone with a set of keys was walking toward me.   As I turned expecting the man who was to meet me, my eyes observed an empty hallway!  Had I just encountered the presence of a spirit?  Shortly thereafter when I had concluded business, I walked outside to enjoy the sunshine.  While standing on the sidewalk and looking through the windows, I contemplated the occurrence I had experienced that morning wondering about the jingling keys and if they belonged to the maintenance man who had passed away shortly before.  Could he have loved his building so much that he continued to inhabit it even after his death?  10 minutes later as I walked back into the building I noticed dollops of white wax all over the floor.  These drops of wax had not been there previously and could not have been missed.  I knew I had not seen anyone through the windows and no one had passed me to enter or leave the building.  Again I wondered about the maintenance man and his wanting to make himself known to me.  Several months later I was talking to one of the residents of the building and was not surprised that they had been experiencing electrical outages, air conditioning failure, and elevators sticking between floors.  I smiled to myself as I knew the spirit of the maintenance man was now making himself known to the other inhabitants of the building as well.
